We have released an important software update to our RAINS™ Robe Automatic Ingress Neutralization System for iFORTE® devices. This system takes care of humidity, temperature, and pressure management inside the fixture and while using an active monitoring it automatically removes moisture detected within the fixture. It also provides permanent monitoring to ensure top performance of the luminaire.

The RAINS system has several components:

• RAINS™ Status, which displays information about the short-term and long-term internal environment of the fixture.

• Sensors Info, which provides sensor data for current conditions in the fixture head, including temperature, relative humidity, and pressure.

• Pressure Test, a unique testing procedure that allows for easy testing of the IP65 integrity of the fixture without requiring any devices or tools.

• POLAR+™, a stand-by mode which keeps only essential parts of the fixture powered, ensuring long-term minimal power draw for remote network monitoring and eventual automatic heating up of the device in case of extra-low temperatures of the surrounding environment.

The RAINS™ system is integrated into the hardware and software of the iFORTE® and the relevant software items are available in the menu of the graphical display and also remotely via a web browser-based network connection to the web interface using the REAP - Robe Ethernet Access Portal. This latest software update for LEDBeam 350™ enables an enhanced zoom initialization procedure that ensures perfect zoom reset even during colder start-up conditions. The new software also adds additional protection to the color calibration system to ensure the integrity of calibration values. We strongly recommand an update to all devices. We have added the REAP - Robe Ethernet Access Portal to Tarrantula™ and Spiider® devices, allowing them to be part of the Robe network integration strategy. Robin PAINTE® definition for RoboSpot has been revised to ensure the best compatibility with the RoboSpot system.
