Robe Takes a Walk in The Park

Production lighting for the vibrant and diverse Park Stage at the 2025 Glastonbury Festival was once again supplied by Bristol, UK-based SWG Events. A design by Mat Spencer – also Chief LX for the project – which included nearly 70 Robe moving lights, helped deliver great lighting for a blistering lineup including Anohni and the Johnsons, Haim, Caribou, Beth Gibbons, The Maccabees, Gary Numan and many, many more who delighted audiences throughout the three-day event.

The 154-metre-high Berlin Radio Tower in Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf, Berlin, Germany, was illuminated in a spectacular lightshow featuring 32 x Robe iBOLT high-powered moving lights and 36 x Robe iESPRITE LTL luminaires on March 20th to mark its 100th anniversary year.

John Featherstone and his daughter Hailey Featherstone, both of US-based visual design studio Lightswitch, have imagined the stunning lighting design for legendary film composer Hans Zimmer’s current “The Next Level” world tour. Hailey is out on the road as lighting director, together with 225 x Robe moving lights and 13 x RoboSpot Systems, among other lights.
