Roznov p.R., Czech Republic. Robe Lighting, the world’s leading entertainment lighting manufacturer, has agreed to acquire Avolites, leaders in the design and manufacture of lighting and video control products. The agreement was reached in the UK yesterday.

“Avolites has always been at the pinnacle of lighting control with products that complement our lighting fixtures; this will add significant value to sales made throughout the global distribution networks of both companies”.
The acquisition of the Avolites business is an important part of Robe’s strategic future growth plan.
Avolites will remain based in the UK and will continue under the existing leadership team.

Marketa Fantova joins the team at ROBE lighting s.r.o. as International education programme coordinator and designer, where her role will be co-ordinating ROBE’s existing NRG programme on an international level.
Robe has appointed a new Egyptian distributor – Impact Egypt Solutions – which is headed by Jean William, a prolific and talented lighting and show designer in his own right. The company is based in the bustling metropolis of Cairo and is one of the oldest and best respected entertainment technology enterprises in the country.
